What is MACRA?
MACRA (Medicare Access & CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015) is a new Quality Payment Program (QPP) that significantly alters how the federal government pays physicians to deliver care. It will bring big changes to your practice.

MACRA is complex.
MACRA combines current Medicare reporting programs, including PQRS and Meaningful Use, and divides them into two paths:

  • The Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), which covers most providers.
  • Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs), which only applies to providers taking on a risk-based payment model such as the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP).

MACRA affects most providers.

Unless you are new to Medicare or bill very low Medicare volume, you can’t opt out.

Time is short.

Starting  January 1, 2017 you’ll need to begin submitting MACRA performance data or risk losing up to 9% of your Medicare revenue.

Don’t take on MACRA alone.
It’s important to assess if your EHR vendor is going to be able to support the complex reporting requirements of MACRA. Talk with us today about how our EHR and Practice Management solution is guaranteed to help you avoid the penalties and maximize your incentive dollars.
