Save time while ensuring critical information is delivered to you and your staff automatically. With PracticeWatch, you can generate and deliver messages and reports to anyone in your practice. PracticeWatch is an invaluable tool for keeping all staff up to date on events in the practice

Direct Access

Direct Access to Request/Anomaly reporting and Status
Track requests and anomalies simply by clicking on the Compulink icon and then selecting Anomaly/Request Status. This allows your office to access information on any requests or anomalies you have reported. This information is accessible simply by clicking on the Compulink icon, and then selecting Anomaly/Request Status.

Product Questions Now Submitted Directly from Software – No Need to Call
Compulink has made it even easier to request assistance for your staff! You can now submit a question directly from the software! By clicking on the Help icon, and selecting Product Question, you are able to select the department you need and post your question or request assistance. You can designate if you prefer a return phone call or email follow up. Those questions will be sent directly to Compulink’s Customer Care team and are automatically logged in the order received for the appropriate response. Asking for help just got easier and quicker.

Billing Services and Resources

Electronic Claim, Eligibility and Remittance Capabilities
Electronic claims submission reduces claim rejections as well as the need to resubmit claims multiple times. Electronic claims submission improves cash flow and reduces the accounts receivables days of outstanding claims because claims are paid more quickly. Electronic Claim Eligibility is an add-on feature designed to provide timely and relevant insurance benefit information within seconds through the Emdeon Clearinghouse. Electronic Remittance Posting is an add-on option available to offices who currently submit electronic claims through their Compulink software. Insurance Payments and Adjustments are posted automatically to your patient ledgers from an electronic file that the carrier returns after claims processing.

Updated Insurance Plans for 1,000+ plans
Compulink maintains the list of Compulink-owned Payors. These are received and updated each time you update to a new Claim edit/Payor set. This helps to reduce claim rejections and ensure proper routing.

Updates to Billing Information such as ICD-10
CMS continues to update ICD-10 codes annually. Advantage Software has built in tools and functionality to allow you to bill with these correct new CMS updates. Providers are required to accurately code the highest level of specification based on clinical documentation, as per the required coding guidelines from CMS. Avoid unspecified ICD-10 codes whenever documentation supports a more detailed code. To ensure proper coding, Advantage Software has built in audit claims to make sure the coding aligns with your clinical documentation. Annually updated ICD-10 codes are included in our version updates when CMS provides updated lists for proper coding.

Change Healthcare/Optum’s Patient Billing & Statements Service (ExpressBill)
Services that save staff time and money on supplies tied to patient billing and recalls, the Patient Billing & Statements Service offers an efficient way to outsource these items for you. For a nominal fee your staff can send an electronic file to Change HealthCare/Optum and have them printed out on professional paper of your choosing, and mailed to patients.

Web Registration
Web registration offers the patient the opportunity to log on to a website and complete all of their personal and medical history, which can be easily downloaded to your software for your review and addition to the system! Saving you and your patient valuable office time.

Integrated Patient Texting Capability
Integrated Patient Texting Capability is a fantastic feature providing the ability to text patients directly from your software. Using a SQL query to locate patients you are interested in contacting, the system identifies the patient’s cell phone number on the demographics screen and sends them a direct text message. Simply set up the item in PracticeWatch with the appropriate schedule and you are all set!

Portal education sent along with CCD
In addition to any documents sent to the portal, Educational Resources made available to the patient are recorded in the Education grid of the medical record. These are automatically marked with a Delivery Method of ‘Portal’ after the Portal Communication function sends them to the patient’s portal account. Also, any items not marked ‘Delivered’ during the office visit will be automatically sent to the portal as well.

Send/Receive referral letters via PHI Secure Direct E-Mail
Ensure your patient’s health information is sent securely and easily with our PHI Secure Direct E-Mail. This easy to use Advantage functionality saves images of sent documentation with historical transmission records for future auditing.

Send/Receive of Faxing via Web Fax Server directly from EHR
Private documents not sent via the portal may be faxed over to a secure, HIPAA compliant fax number for transmission of documents. To begin using this feature, complete the setup of the E-Fax (Cloud Fax) in your location table. Once complete, documents can be viewed inside your Inbox menu, and can then be imported directly to a patient’s record, either in the patient screen, or directly in their medical record.

Send/receive CCD documents to/from referrals
The Compulink medical records menu also offers options for sending and receiving CCD documents to/from referrals. Located under the Meaningful Use icon, this gives providers the opportunity to send info to referrals (either via the portal or via direct email) and to receive items as well.

Automated e-Prescribe and Pharmacy Discounts

AdvantageERx
Automated e-Prescribing supports attestation and promotes efficiency by allowing providers to send prescriptions directly from their software. With the new AdvantageERx this tool provides a more efficient delivery and retrieval of medication information that also meets industry requirements for transmission of controlled substances.

Pharmacy Card Savings and Patient Compliance
Patient Compliance can be especially difficult for patients without prescription insurance coverage. As your Advantage Partner, we have established a free savings plan that is built into your software. Uninsured patients can be encouraged to comply with treatment plans by providing a pharmacy card discount. This resource can be printed and handed to the patient from your software and is at no cost to the patient or the provider. Higher compliance helps to improve patient outcomes.

In addition to the spectacle plan pricing, the lens tables and options are updated regularly across all manufacturers, affecting over 10,000 lenses. Ensuring your staff have the latest lens information to meet patient needs and create profitability within your practice.

Vision Web Interface for submitting SRX Jobs
For offices that submit Spectacle Rx jobs to Vision Web labs, Compulink offers an interface which sends those jobs electronically. Done directly from the software, this allows for immediate job submittal, rather than having to fax information to your optical labs. Another “no charge” service included with your Partnership Care Fees.

ABB Concise Interface
The ABB Optical Group Contact Lens catalog can be used for the following:

  • Building your Contact Lens inventory; similar to using Frames Data for frames.
  • Completing the Contact Lens Rx screen.
  • The interface for Placing Orders to ABB Optical Group through the Advantage software.
  • Orders may be individually placed and shipped directly to the patient. They may also be placed in a batch and shipped to the office.
